Liberty View Ballroom | Independence Visitor Center
Spring has sprung and the Open House at Liberty View Ballroom was so much fun & has me in the mood for Summer! Before I jump the gun...here's a little taste of the evening and what this place has to offer! Brûlée Catering rolled out new menu items, Master Bakers showcased beautiful and tasty cake, Cuba Libre served up classic Mojito's! Thank you Ann Marie Casey Photography for capturing it all on Film!

Alyse & Matt | NCC Wedding
Alyse and Matt tied the knot at the NCC this
past weekend & I have to admit - I had a hard time giving these
babies up! I can not wait to see the official images from their wedding
photographer Amie Schroeder (who's images are sure to be better than these from my phone!) Natalie Diener was their planner & the
day went off with out a hitch. Here's a sneak peek at the beauties....
Bridesmaid One: Berzelia!

Lucky Girl #2: Green Hydrangea:

Beauty a laTres: Green Trick Dianthus
Lovely Lady #4: Green Cymbidiums
Rounding the corner is miss number 5: Green Parrot Tulips
Pretty #6 (maybe my fav?): Leucadendron
and the Bride herself...a little bit of everything:
I miss you lovelies!
Emile & Joe | Loews Hotel
We don't usually take more than one wedding per day - but how could we
pass this up? Emilie had based her inspiration off of this pillow...and I
love a gal who's inspired! Kate LaRosa was the planner and the evening was pulled off with out a hitch at the Loews Hotel on the 33rd Floor. This is one of my favorite room(s) for an event. The building was built in 1932 and was designed by architects William Lescaze and George Howe - and that 33rd Floor was intended for the Board of Directors...think forward thinking "Mad Men."
Now these shots are nothing compared to what
I am sure their official photographer Sharyn Frenkel took - but while we wait with bated breath...here are a few detail shots to hold us all over!

We knocked out some "Color Saturation" bouquets for the Bridesmaids and an "All Color" bouquet for the Bride...
Then a few more stripes for the ceremony...

and the centerpieces pulled it all together...
...along with the city view that tied in with all the printed materials (cute table numbers!) and the pillows themselves made an appearance too!

And a pre-honeymoon Thank You is an amazing way to start off the week:
Hi Judith, I just wanted to send you a quick note to tell you how much
I loved the flowers and how beautiful everything looked. And thank you again
for accommodating our last minute requests...Joe and I head out on our honeymoon on Wednesday, but after
we return I will be sending you a more formal thank you/recommendation. (I just
couldn't wait to tell you how perfect everything was!) Thanks! Emilie

Samantha and Lou | Le Méridien
I met Samantha and her mom way back in August at Le Méridien Hotel via Sofia Negron. If you haven't been there yet - grab a date and swing by for a cocktail. You will be in love. "Originally a YMCA, the hotel is housed in a 10-story Georgian
revival-style structure with intriguing historical flair, located in the
heart of the city's business district and less than one block from the
Pennsylvania Convention Center."
Sam had some definite ideas as to what she liked; and what she didn't. I get along great with people who can make decisions - we were a match! That being said - she did have a very short "Must Have" list: Peonies. White. Barely cracked open. (Insert audible gasp from me!) Now, I love making dreams come true as much as the next designer - but promising a Spring flower in December is skating on thin ice. Crisis averted...slightly cascading, barely open - dream come true...Check!

We brought some color into the Bridesmaids with beautiful garden roses and light pink peonies
Sam and Lou were hitched and all was set at Le Méridien...each of the tables were a little different in design but all built withe the same floral types:tulips, hydrangea, roses and striking black candlesticks that picked up the curves and details of the room.
Sam and her mom collected all of these spent shot - 'cause they fit the color pallet and it's a nod to a sport Dad would appreciate.
Yep - Oreo Cake!
And then the fun really began!
Special thanks to Amanda Chrin from Le Méridien for making our job so easy! Sofia Negron captured so many more amazing shots than I can showcase here - check her out! And for hair that just wouldn't quit - Marcos Matos you are amazing!
Congratulations Samantha and Lou - I loved being a part of your wedding!

Style Studio | Autumnal Equinox
I thought we could celebrate the First Day of Autumn (aka Autumnal Equinox) with some pretties in the studio...having AMC's new studio in Bryn Mawr is getting a little too convenient!
Listen kids, Fall doesn't have to be boring -or orange, red and yellow for that matter! This lovely has a ton of texture and shades that add to the richness of the season with a 'just gathered' elegance. I love the pop of blush in the ribbon wrap. We tucked in some silvery grey Tillandsia, striking Paphiopedilum orchids with an amber and burgundy blush, scattered a few white Israeli Phlox finished off with fistfuls of Bush Ivy with their black berries still intact.

Randi and Reid | Le Meridien
Randi was stunning at her wedding to Reid at Le Meridien at the start of the month. Baiada Photography captured all of the moments and details - I can't wait to check them out! Until then here is a sneak peak - I love it when FB profile pics change from single to married!

Jenna & Anup | Galeria Artesano
It was such a delight to be part of Jenna and Anup's wedding this
summer. Angela Malicki coordinated their day and Ivan Roa Osuna made
sure every detail from art to cuisine was in place at Galeria Artesano.
Thank you Lori & Neville of Stringer Photography for sharing these lovely moments! Judith Campbell and
Campbell Studios created some feminine bouquets and styled centerpieces
that fit the space as well as Jenna's personal sense of style! Jenna looked beautiful, Claudia Seyler Make Up by There are
too may pictures to pick just one favorite!
And these don't really have much to do with flowers - but are such great examples of Stringer Photography's style I couldn't resist. Thank you for sharing these images on your blog Lori & Neville! The last one should be in a magazine!

Lauren and Dixon | Overbrook Golf Club
I got such a nice "Thank You" note from Lauren & Dixon this week. I had the opportunity to work with them and their families for their wedding on June 30th. The Ceremony took place Media Presbyterian and the Reception at Overbrook Golf Club. I did the Wedding Coordination as well as the Event Design & Floral Decor. (I loved her bouquet so much I could barely hand it over!) I can't wait to share some of the images that Philip Gabriel captured when they are available...we will have a full post when they are!
Until then check out this beautiful "Coming Soon" trailer by CinemaCake for some of the highlights of their gorgeous day!

Style Studio | Spring 2012
Sometimes it's fun to make pretty things just because we can...here's a
few shots from a new little section I am going to start posting - I like the call it the "Style Studio."
Ann Marie Casey and I had a super fun day styling some bouquet shots -
Thanks AMC Photography!
This little beauty has so many of my favorites all together: lovely white Hellebore (hella yeah!) with touches of their bright green leaves, delicate pink Ranunculus & the Cirrus Dusty Miller that I still can't seem to get over...it's just so pretty!
